Well it’s only been 12 days since we rang in the new year and already housing economists are making predictions for the real estate market in Stark County Ohio

Housing prices will go up; housing prices will go down

Mortgage interest rates will stay level; mortgage interest rates will raise significantly

As usual their predictions are all across the board. I don’t think their crystal ball is any more clear than yours or mine. Here is what I do know:

Housing affordability is at an all time high and mortgage interest rates are at a near all time low. The government is giving a substantial tax credit to first time home-buyers and also to existing home owners. I predict 2010 will go down in recorded history as being “the year” to have bought a new home or investment property. Those that are wise enough to buy in 2010 will be patting themselves on the back by 2013!

What are your waiting for? Let me help you make your real estate dreams come true in 2010. As Gary Keller says: “There is never a bad time to buy good real estate”
